Airo White Gloss & Nero Stained Oak Veneer

The Brief

To create a breath taking bright, light and open family space from 3 separate dark spaces.

Budget: £50,000+

Includes: Kitchen, worktop, Gaggenau appliances, flooring decorating and installation.

Designer's Tips

By creating this galley style kitchen we have been able to maximise storage and workspace without any awkward corner units or dark corner work spaces. This has also allowed us to put two banks of tall units at opposite ends of the kitchen area which has improved ergonomics, light flow and created a great balance to the room.

Malmo Porcelain Matt

The Brief

Alison & Andrew visited our showroom with the view to open out their existing kitchen into their under-used dining room. They hoped to achieve a family space that would flow with the rest of the home and allow more than one person to use the space without being in each others' way. It was important to Alison that there was plenty of storage and worktop as she enjoys baking and often does not have enough space.

Budget: £35,000

Includes: Building works, electrics, plumbing relocation, heating, kitchen, installation, Amtico flooring, lighting and decoration.

Designer's Tips

Alison & Andrew had spent quite a lot of time visiting national kitchen companies who all came up with similar designs for their space but felt a little underwhelmed. They stretched their horizons and visited our showroom. After a good conversation trying to get a feel for what they were looking to achieve, it became apparent that they were being limited by the feeling that they needed to keep their kitchen in the existing kitchen space. By keeping an open mind and taking a fresh perspective on the area, they have managed to exceed previous constraints of their original kitchen and dining area and achieved more than they believed their home ever had potential for.
